In matching golf caps and smiles, employees of Augusta National Golf Club have tirelessly cooked meals, packed boxes, tended to raised produce beds, and extended a comforting hand of food and hope to our neighbors in need throughout their annual month of service.

This outstanding team has volunteered across our soup kitchen, urban farm, and sorting and packing facilities over the past 3 years, as part of the Augusta National Cares program. Thanks to their hard work, we have been able to provide healthy meals for countless children, seniors, and families in our 25-county service area.

At our Augusta campus’ new Volunteer Center, Augusta National volunteers had the opportunity to package nutritious meals for local children and seniors. They packed boxes for our Senior Food Box program, as well as bags of kid-friendly food for our BackPack Program, which provides much-needed weekend nutrition for children who rely on school meals.

“Each year, we are profoundly moved by the unwavering commitment shown by our Augusta National Golf Club volunteers, who dedicate themselves to ensuring healthy meals make it into the hands of those we serve. Your selfless contributions of time, energy, and effort are invaluable as we continue our mission of building a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow.” said Amy Breitmann, President and CEO of Golden Harvest Food Bank.
