Amy Breitmann is the President and CEO of Golden Harvest Food Bank, where she leads a dedicated team working alongside 325+ hunger relief partners to fight food insecurity across 24 counties in Georgia and South Carolina. Under her leadership, the Food Bank distributed more than 14 million meals last year as part of the Feeding America network.

Named one of Georgia Trend’s Top 500 Most Influential Leaders, Amy brings over 25 years of nonprofit leadership to the role. She co-founded The Lydia Project, a national ministry supporting cancer patients, which grew out of her own battle with ovarian cancer and a desire to walk alongside women facing a diagnosis. She has since led efforts in development, marketing, and storytelling across local and international nonprofits.

A native of Ohio, Amy holds degrees in English and Community Agency Counseling from Bowling Green State University. She is also a published author, with her writing featured in national publications and in her co-authored book A God of All Seasons.

Amy serves on the boards of Feeding Georgia and Feeding the Carolinas, where she helps lead advocacy efforts for food-insecure families. She and her husband, Troy, have called Augusta home for over 25 years and are active members of Quest Church. They have two adult children, a beloved granddaughter, and a deep love for their community.
