The Georgia Legal Food Frenzy is an annual two-week fundraising competition created in partnership with the Georgia Attorney General, the State Bar and YLD, and the Georgia Food Bank Association. The competition is open to everyone in the legal community to see which law firm, legal organization, and corporate/in-house counsel can have the biggest impact on hunger. Everything raised in Golden Harvest’s service area stays local and benefits Golden Harvest Food Bank.

Help Stamp Out Hunger with the National Association of Letter Carriers! On Saturday, May 13, simply leave a bag of nonperishable food by your mailbox and your letter carrier will deliver the food to your local hunger relief agency, including Golden Harvest Food Bank. The Georgia Society of CPAs and Georgia’s accounting industry partner each year with Feeding Georgia to support their shared mission of ending hunger. During two weeks each August, accounting firms and individuals compete statewide to see who can raise the most funds for their regional Food Bank. Please join us to celebrate our new Volunteer and Administration Center. The renovations include a volunteer packing and sorting area, a new entrance to better share our mission with the community, as well as increased office and conference room space.

September is Hunger Action Month! Join the fight to end hunger. Your power, voice, actions, and commitment will ensure nobody has to make an impossible choice between food and other necessities like medicine, utilities, or childcare. Details for Hunger Action Month 2023 will be posted soon.

Hunger is scary for families, seniors, and children in need in our community. For 30 years, neighborhoods, businesses, organizations and volunteers have linked arms with Golden Harvest Food Bank to scare away hunger through the It’s Spooky to Be Hungry® Drive.

What started as a neighborhood food donation drive has evolved into a virtual drive that includes hundreds of businesses, schools, community groups, and churches across the CSRA — all united by a common cause to fill plates and hearts in our community.
