Rural Georgia County Has the Highest Rate of Child Food Insecurity in the U.S. AUGUSTA (06/05/25) - Nearly 1 in 2 children in Hancock County, Georgia, are growing up without consistent access to food, the highest rate of child hunger in the nation.
