AUGUSTA (08/18/2025) On Tuesday, August 19th, The Jim Hudson Automotive Group will be presenting a large donation check to the Golden Harvest Food Bank. The $50,000 check presentation is set to take place at 2 PM in Golden Harvest Food Bank located at 3310 Commerce Dr in Augusta.
This check donation is the result of a successful 14th Annual Jim Hudson 2000 Event, an event that the Jim Hudson Automotive Group holds every summer in order to raise money to feed the hungry. This year marks the company’s 14 millionth meal donation to the food bank. During the two-month long event, all ten Jim Hudson locations were challenged to sell 2,000 vehicles in two months in hopes of reaching a 1 million meal donation for Harvest Hope/Golden Harvest.

Raising the funds needed to feed one in six people who struggle with hunger is an achievement every Jim Hudson employee can be proud of.
