JROTC student volunteering at Richmond County Success Center.

Volunteers filled the space each day, working side by side to sort fresh produce and pack meals for children who usually count on school lunches during the school year. To meet the increased need, we expanded volunteer shifts and turned the center into a hub of hope where neighbors came together to make a tangible difference.

Thanks to that support, our Summer Harvest program packed over 180,000 meals for children at 10 schools, focusing on rural Georgia counties where

access to healthy food can be hardest to come by.

But each box meant more than just food. It meant peace of mind for parents trying to stretch tight budgets. It meant one less worry during the long summer months. And it meant our community showed up again and again to care for one another in a real and meaningful way.

Now that the school year is back in full swing, we’re shifting gears and ramping up our BackPack Program to provide weekend meals for children who might otherwise go without. These bags are filled with nutritious, easy-to-carry items and packed with care, giving students the fuel they need to focus in the classroom and thrive.

The need hasn’t slowed down, and neither can we. Our BackPack Program is going strong, but it takes all of us to keep it moving. Whether you can lend your time to pack bags or rally a group to volunteer, your support helps make sure kids have what they need to succeed.

And your generosity fuels it all. Every donation helps us reach more students with the nutrition they need to grow, learn, and build a brighter future.

From our warehouses to local classrooms, to kitchen tables across our region: thank you for standing with us in the fight against hunger.
