When it comes to showing up for the community, Aquinas High School doesn’t hesitate. For the past several years, students from Aquinas have been a steady and dependable presence at Golden Harvest Food Bank. Their commitment to service has become a tradition, one we’ve come to count on. This summer, their impact was especially meaningful. Multiple student groups joined us at the Produce Rescue Center to pack Summer Harvest boxes, helping ensure that thousands of children across our service area had meals during the school break.

However, Aquinas students didn’t just show up for summer, they’ve supported us through every season. From stuffing It’s Spooky To Be Hungry door-hangers and spreading the word about our largest annual food drive, to stepping up after Hurricane Helene to support our disaster response efforts, their willingness to help runs deep. Even during the early and uncertain days of the COVID-19 pandemic, they found safe ways to serve their neighbors and support hunger relief.

Their energy, compassion, and reliability reflect the best of what it means to be a community partner. They are not only giving their time, they are building a legacy of service that makes a lasting difference.

We are truly grateful for Aquinas High School’s continued support and for the example they set for others. Every hour spent volunteering brings us one step closer to our vision of a hunger-free tomorrow.

Thank you, Aquinas, for showing up when it matters most. Your dedication helps transform lives across our community, one box, one student, and one act of kindness at a time.
