Summer Harvest Program

Summer leaves too many kids without enough to eat.
When school is out, many children lose access to free or reduced-price school meals—leaving families struggling. Golden Harvest’s Summer Harvest program bridges that gap by providing food boxes filled with staples like fresh produce and meats. In partnership with schools and hunger relief organizations, we serve Georgia families with children ages 17 and under, focusing on rural areas and expanding into urban communities. Volunteers at our Augusta Campus help pack thousands of boxes each summer, ensuring kids have access to healthy, nourishing food when school cafeterias close. Together, we’re making sure no child goes hungry during the summer months.
