The Master’s Table
3,390 people in Richmond County struggle with hunger.
Hunger has long been a struggle for the downtown Augusta community. In an area now designated as a food desert with no grocery stores, community members in need are hungering for a smile and a kind word as much as for a hot meal.
The Master’s Table was created to be a place of comfort and support in downtown Augusta. Our kitchen serves a hot lunch to more than 200 guests every day, 365 days per year with the help of volunteers. Our guests include families with children, veterans, and disabled and homeless neighbors.
All are welcome to come and receive a hot meal at The Master’s Table. We are located at 702 Fenwick Street in downtown Augusta, and lunch is served daily from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
If you are interested in volunteering at The Masters Table, please visit our Volunteer Page to learn more and sign up.
We also have opportunities for our community to serve at The Master’s Table outside of our regularly listed volunteer opportunities. If you have an interest in serving our clients in a different capacity, please fill out the Volunteer Inquiry form below and a member of management will contact you. Please note that we are unable to accommodate same day requests or drop-ins as it is our desire to provide an excellent volunteer experience for all.Â
