When we think of steadfast dedication and a heart for service, we think of Jesse McClam. Jesse first walked through our doors in 2018 as a volunteer and quickly became part of the heartbeat of Golden Harvest. He showed up nearly every day with a warm smile, a can-do spirit, and a work ethic that inspired everyone around him. It didn’t take long for our team to realize Jesse wasn’t just volunteering. 100 Hours of Spreading Joy at The Master’s Table

Volunteer Amy Gentry serves the noontime meal at The Master’s Table Soup Kitchen in downtown Augusta. Amy Gentry pulls up to The Master’s Table Soup Kitchen on Saturday morning at 8:30. Instead of enjoying a leisurely weekend morning, she ties on an apron, pulls on gloves and starts preparing the noontime meal. Amy set herself a goal of volunteering 100 hours with Golden Harvest Food Bank this year.
