Each box contains an assortment of nutritious food designed to meet the unique nutritional needs of the elderly including lean proteins, fruits and vegetables, and whole grains – enough for 15 meals!
The Senior Homes Delivered Meals Program provides seniors facing hunger with a hot meal once a week. Golden Harvest partners with local soup kitchens, housing authorities, and other organizations to help prepare and deliver these much-needed meals.
The BackPack Program meets the needs of children facing hunger by providing them with a bag of nutritious, easy-open food each Friday during the school year. Each bag contains enough food for 4 meals to help recipients through the weekend.
The Pantry Packs Program is Golden Harvest’s new initiative to stop teen hunger. Tailored to meet the unique needs of teens living in poverty, the program provides packs of food and hygiene items at local middle and high schools where participants can easily access them.
